An extremely sturdy and rugged tool for blazing through the densest foams. The 6-Inch blade can be easily replaced with a fresh blade or swapped out for a smaller 4-Inch blade that cuts faster. The kit version includes a sled guide with shapeable blades for cutting and routing grooves. This tools includes its own built-in adjustable power supply.

Why get the 3-Inch Hot Knife over the 4-Inch? The 6-Inch over the 8-Inch?
The 3-Inch and 6-Inch Hot Knives might have less length, but they cut hotter and are much sturdier then their longer counterparts. We recommend getting these over the longer versions unless it’s absolutely necessary to have the extra length for your project.
Can I replace the blade on my Hot Knife?
The Crafters and Pro Hot Knives cannot be replaced by yourself and must be sent in for replacement. Each Hot Knife should come with a blade replacement form to fill out before sending it in. The Industrial Hot Knife does have user-replaceable blades, both in 4-Inch and 6-Inch sizes.
What are some tips for cutting with my Hot Knife?
The best thing to do is let the heat do the cutting. Don’t force he blade through the foam as it can bend and cause irreparable damage. Make sure to wipe the melted foam off your blade as often as you can to prevent build up. It’s also possible for melted foam to get into the internals of the knife if it’s not cleaned off. It is very unlikely that your Hot Knife will overheat, but if you’re still concerned about it, switching it off between cuts will definitely benefit the Knife in the long run.
