Giant TREX Head Foam Sculpture

There are few things that make a cooler decorative wall piece than a Tyrannosaurus head, so Ken Forbister decided to sculpt one out of foam.
The head is comprised of a large block of EPS foam which Ken carved down to the rough size and shape of the head with the 4-Foot Bow Cutter. The proper size can also be achieved by gluing large foam sheets together to make a block.
Ken used the Freehand Router to refine the shape of the T-Rex and add finer details. The piercing yellow eyes are handmade out of acrylic.
The finished head mounts perfectly to the wall and features razor sharp-looking fangs, detailed scales and wrinkles, and an excellent paint job to match.
