Alphonse Elric and Barry the Chopper were created by using Pepakura files and transferring the basic shapes to EVA foam. After scale was established, the pieces were glued together with hot glue and multiple layers of Hot Wire Foam Factory’s Styroplast were applied. Styroplast encapsulates the foam, giving it a hard plastic shell. Paint was then added, followed by weathering and electronics to bring the pieces to life.
