Eduardo Talbert of Monster Tutorials made this in-depth video on how to create your own Zero tombstone from The Nightmare Before Christmas using insulation foam.
He started by gathering reference images and making measurements based off initial sketches.
He then cut the shapes out using the Industrial 6-Inch Hot Knife and glued the pieces together with silicone, using toothpicks to hold everything in place.
He cut out the details on the door using the 4-Inch Hot Knife.
Next, he cut strips of foam for the roof paneling and used the Industrial Sled Guide to cut the strips in half, then used the 4-Inch Hot Knife to carve out the details of the panels.
He texturized it using water and a heat gun, then applied paint using an airbrush.
The end result came out incredible, looking like it came right out of the movie:
