Castle of Chaos is known as one of the most terrifying haunted houses in the US, being recognized bye The Travel Channel, Haunt World, and much more. Ethan King created these realistic faux stone columns out of foam for their Transworld booth which are now being repurposed for their 2023 haunt as part of their graveyard area.

“These columns were originally made for a booth at Transworld 2023. We wanted to repurpose them, so I added a foot to the height and carved out new caps and a base for each one.”

“I added a wall to connect the columns to the mausoleum. This added extra support and a nice scare spot through the set. Details were added using a Hot Knife as well as a rasp and lots of sanding.”

“Exterior Foam Coat came next with the addition of the Boost additive. We ran two coats on the columns and the wall and added an extra 2 coats on the kick zones of each structure for extra support.”
