Robed Skeleton Tombstone and More
Marsha Bryant
Here are 2 intricately detailed tombstone builds from Marsha Bryant’s 2020 haunt set.
Beloved
Marsha started her “Beloved” tombstone build with a Styrofoam cooler, gluing sheets of pink insulation foam around it to make the shape of the base.
She painted the skeleton before attaching it to the base, then draped it in a twin bed sheet and pieces of a pillow case. She used a 4:1 mix of drywall compound and paint to give the wraps their finish.
Myra Maines
Marsha started the “Myra” tombstone build with sheets of pink insulation foam, cutting out shapes for the corner “swishes” and the nameplate, then trimming the top corners of the tombstone to match the swish shapes.
She attached the head to the top of the tombstone and began aging the stone, adding cracks in various places. She added flowers around the nameplate as well as the scarf around the head and began applying the finishing touches.
