Modular Easter Archway

Jeff Waguespack

Jeff Waguespack constructed this impressive archway out of several foam blocks and designed it to be easily taken apart for transportation and storage.

“The project was created for a local church that wanted to represent the archway entrance into Jerusalem during Jesus Christ’s time. The arch will be used during Easter each year.”

The arch consists of several blocks of foam with an interior skeleton made out of wood and PVC pipe.

“The arch needed to be modular as well as easy to setup and take apart.”

“It has 300lbs of Exterior Foam Coat applied to it, which was painted and sealed.”

The finish replicates the look and feel of sandstone.
