Foam Frame Tutorial

The Hot Wire Scroll Table was used for this, but the Hot Knife would work good too.

1) Pin 3 thin 1/4″-1″ slices of foam together.

2) Cut out the outside shape. Separate the sheets and make cuts on each layer as desired.

3) The white stars and shapes are cutouts in the second layer of foam. The stars were cut out in the front-most layer of foam. The dark green stars were cut out separately and glued onto the surface for added dimension.

4) If you want to use glass, just purchase inexpensive Swiss clips which hold your photo, backed by cheap cardboard to the glass.
