Multi-Tier Village Display

I used polystyrene foam board insulation and cut the foam to put on top of the wood. I just used a knife to shape the edges and cut the pond and waterfall (wish I had purchased the Sculpting Tool). I cut ridges under the foam for the cords and I coated the foam with All Purpose Foam Coat and then painted it with white acrylic paint. I used blue acrylic paint for the ponds and filled it in with clear silicone caulk. I also made the waterfall using the clear silicone caulk.
Next, I sprinkled SnoFlock over the paint to make it sparkle and look like snow. I added some rocks to the larger pond for additional detail and I used SnoFlock on the garland and hung it with small hooks nailed to the wood. To hide the cords, I used snow blanket wrapped around the poles.
