Part 2: Pathways and Stacked Stone Walls
To blend the different leveled pathways together, Miriam used the Freehand Router and an 80 grit sanding block, creating a smooth transition.
For the retaining wall, Miriam wanted to create a stacked-stone look. To do this, she took a piece of pink XPS foam and cut it into little uneven sections with the 3-Inch Hot Knife.
Once the pieces were cut out, she painted the face they were going to be attached to black so there wouldn’t be any white foam showing through the seems in the stone pieces. Once that dried, she glued the pieces in place with StyroGoo and painted them black as well.
