Seven Dwarfs’ Cottage

The attached photos are of a stage prop I constructed for a charitable auction in the Seattle area in 2010. I was asked to create a life size version of The Seven Dwarfs cottage. As a Disney fanatic I was thrilled at the opportunity. Though this was my first time working with foam, it didn’t take long to get a feel for the Hot Wire tools and to develop some of my own techniques through trial and error. I constructed it in 8 separate pieces for easy transport. The finished cottage was a hit, the auction set a record and your tools, coatings and website information were a huge help. Couldn’t have done it without you.
