Vacation Bible School Sets

I love using Hot Wire Foam Factory tools for accomplishing these Vacation Bible School sets!! I have created three sets so far – all have been using the LifeWay VBS themes. I had no idea what I was doing for the first set which was the treehouse. I had just discovered insulation foam boards the year prior doing classroom decorations and told the church if we were going to be doing sets with foam boards going forward we needed to invest in proper tools and they bought the Industrial Hot Knife Kit. It was a learning curve but I immediately fell in love.
As you can see, a lot of pre-work is done in my garage with just me and my Hot Knife. I have primarily used the 4″ straight blade, 6″ straight blade, Foam Fusion and StyroGoo glues. I did all the tracing, cutting, assembling and gluing myself. I did have help with painting the treehouse and the submarine. I start around the first or second week of June and have everything ready for our VBS which is always the 3rd week of July.
Being a 58 year old empty nester school bus driver with summers off gives me the time to devote to creating for Christ. Your products are simply the best! As amateurs we have been really rough on them and I think I have only replaced one blade since we bought the kit. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
