Rain Forest Stuffed Animal Display

Gwyn Quesada

Gwyn designed this beautiful Rain Forest-themed room for the educational toy company, Wild Republic, as a place to display some of their Rain Forest stuffed animals. Wild Republic is a company who educates kids about nature through their stuffed animals and other toys while also being active in wildlife conservation efforts. The centerpiece of the display, a lush-looking replica of the Grand Kapok Tree from the Amazon, was sculpted out of EPS foam.

“Wild Republic wished to have a rain forest room to display rain forest stuffed animals in their natural habitat. The tree was sculpted based off the Grand Kapok Tree from the Amazon. The whole tree project took about 60-70 hours.”

Tools used:

The tree stands 10-feet tall and was built in 5 parts: the tree trunk, 2 large branches, and 2 root sections.

“The company showed their Rain Forest room to their customers from all over the world. The 90 year old owner was extremely pleased with the tree sculpture and room, as it has fulfilled his life time dream. I felt very honored to provide a sculpture that will last for years to come. Thank you Hot Wire for your FAQs, Newsletters, excellent tools, and fast shipping to prevent delays in creating an amazing piece imitating nature and making many people happy!”
