How-To Make a Sign

We here at Dino Rentos Studios tried your Hot Wire Foam Factory tools and have been thrilled with the results. These are the tools for any skill level! They made the job fast and effective. Here’s a “how-to” on making a sign:

I started out by drawing my design onto 1″ foam board. From there I cut out the basic shape. The design was then placed on the 3D Scroll Table and the pattern was routed out. This ensured a level “cut-out” of the removed material.
From there the plaque was coated and then sanded. Lettering was applied.
A touch of paint was applied to make it look like stone. A hanger was glued on the back so it could be hung. A final coat of stone paint and then the black was applied to the lifted areas of the sign. After everything dried, it was ready to go!
