Elf Tree House

Justin Briggs crafted this large tree with a small door in it out of pink EPS insulation foam. It is going to be installed in a new wizard inspired retail shop called Cloak and Wand in Mystic CT at the mystic village.
Justin started by laminating sheets of pink insulation foam using Foam Fusion. Once it was dry, he began carving out the shape of the tree.
He coated the entire tree with a thin layer of All Purpose Foam Coat, then coated smaller batches of about 3-4 sq ft, sculpting the bark texture as theses smaller batches dried. Before the coating dried entirely, he brushed over it with a chip brush to add wood texturing.
