Scott is a skilled artist and project manager for Prop House Productions, a custom design and creation company in the prop and theming industry. They specialize in fabrication, hard coating, small- and large-scale animatronics and simulators, immersive design and implementation, home-theming, sculpting, construction, and costuming.

“We use EPS foams for small- to large-scale projects, EVA foams for costuming, and a combination of EPS and EVA foams together if required for the project. We prefer EPS foam because it is lightweight and indestructible for set and stage applications. All of our sculpting tools we use are from Hot Wire Foam Factory. We only use Hot Wire Foam Factory tools because, unlike others, these tools allow us to achieve the fine detail needed for the desirable results.”

Halo 3 ODST Premiere

For the premiere of Halo 3 ODST’s initial launch on the Xbox 360, Scott and the team constructed several pieces with incredible detail, including a drop pod with full interior, ODST costumes, and a life-sized Brute.

‍To create these pieces, they used the 4-Foot Bow, Industrial Router, Industrial Hot Knife Kit, Precision Engraver, Probe Tool, and Sculpting Tool. Many of the pieces were then hard coated with Styroplast.

Christmas

Here are some festive Christmas displays, featuring a stone fireplace set design used at Six Flags, a Christmas-themed sand castle, an elf lifeguard tower, and a plane with Christmas colors displayed at an airport.

Lord of the Rings Room

This room is takes inspiration from Tolkien’s Middle Earth as depicted in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and features walls decorated with sculpted foam panels, a custom Hobbit door, and places to mount replicas of some of the iconic weapons from the movies such as Sting and Anduril.
