Part 3: Designing
With the build now in a functional state, it was ready for aesthetics. They went with a patriotic American design and started sanding the surface to prepare it for the coverings.
They covered the wings and fuselage with covering film using an iron at low heat so the foam didn’t melt. They started with red, then added the white and blue accents.
Next, they added a hinge and locking mechanism to the nose for the battery housing.
Now that the design was finished, the plane was ready to fly once more. They assembled it and prepared for another takeoff.
